"Kage no Jitsuryokusha ni Naritakute" is a Japanese light novel series written by Rui Tsukiyo and illustrated by Reia. The story revolves around a young office worker named Hinami who goes through a series of unfortunate events in her life. Fed up with her mediocrity, she decides to join a secret organization of assassins, hoping to become one of the highly skilled operatives known as "Shadows."
